Sacred Geometry
Water does not flow below the bedrock.
Neither does light enter into a space obscured by the slightest obstruction.
We do not speak plainly of things that we do not understand.
What is friendly to us is usually the basis of our surroundings and our environment,
And, the essence of our lives is not found in our possessions
No rather it is revealed in our connections and our associations.
The structure and manner of our lives reveals who we are.
Connections
For of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. Peter the Rolling Stone
Throughout the ages, men have understood and honored powers greater than themselves. Call these powers what they would and whether revered in form or substance or in ritual and meditation mankind and cultures across the globe have deferred they have devoted themselves and in every case they have acknowledged the symbols and icons of their communication with the unseen world.
Runes, talismans, idols, sacred symbols, the rendering of the touch into something they could see and feel and set forth as a banner of their fealty and dedication.
But more than that.
These physical expressions become the portals of their access to these forces or to deities and so it is with all the natural world.
Sacred symbols the idols themselves fuse the connection and the knowledge of those powers they represent
the logo becomes the reality.
In the beginning was the Word. John 1:1
You dont have to look very far into the Creation to find these asterisks of access and understanding.
The snowflake
A bit of shale
A prism splitting light
Into a rainbow on your hand
Your path to the horizon
Disappearing into night
The wonder of the wing
And feather
And the ecstasy of flight
The spheres of sun
And moon; and visitors
Around the sun
The threshold of the
Temperatures
Gas and liquid
Then to ice
Shattered glass once
Fused from sand
Sparkling waters
Barren lands
Colonies of ants and bees
Migration of both
Fish and fowl
Even butterflies
Intricacies of the seeing eye
The sanctity of
Every womb
The matrix of the
Unborn child.
- The Fool
All of these point in the same direction wonder, and awe and worship of Him who created it all.
But not all connections access the divine and not every voice or power comes from God.
And so it is with the runes and idols of wickedness and evil. They are portals to unseen powers to those who worship there for if you hold these symbols and acknowledgments in reverence
Then you connect with the realities of their transfiguration whether you understand the depths of the worlds you enter thereby or not.
Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. Warning to Timothy
Have you been tagged?, or do you carry the banner or wear the uniform?, have you been branded? tattooed? pierced through? chipped?
Have you sold your birthright?
Once seduced your will to escape will diminish and then you can fall into bondage but maybe that doesnt fill you with a fear of God after all bondage is fashionable, isnt it?
Red and Yellow Make Orange
We understand primary colors from which we can produce any color and any hue.
Or white light broken raindrops still aloft spreading rainbows from the sun.
From building blocks of atoms to the structures of steel and stone and glass that rise up in our midst we apply the physical sciences with wondrous results.
Even tones of music are universal beat and measure and the drum the pause the piano forte the songbird sings and the wind moans out its song.
Warmth and beauty, light and solitude, majesty and width and height and depth and brevity.
The arch, the sphere, the angle and the cone a slightly bloated pillar makes it straight and true when seen from afar a vaulted ceiling geodesic dome or pyramid the third class lever of our arm or leg, and all dexterity derived from such a simple member as the thumb we all begin from microscopic seed and earth the very Earth to rule and subjugate.
But in the midst of wonder and the miracle of life and generations to enjoy what do we do?
We raise the swastika, the hammer and the sickle and the bold emblazoned star the green and black and yellow of the necklacing and brutal mob.
We reach for that which God Himself has in His love and care for us justly forbidden yea, has barred from our experience
And all for fleeting fame, and to consume it on the fires of lust and hate and murder for a pretense and a dirge we fill the world with all the commerce of the bondage of that vile pursuit.
And in our decadence we put our trust in wandering stars and clouds of drought.
Here symbolized for us in access codes and fleshly brands and soon to culminate with marks burned into foreheads and right hands.
